The Border Town Design Jam is happening next weekend, and some spaces are still available. I will be there to give a little talk and maybe some advice, but the sweet filling at the core of the event will be the, er, jam itself. The theme of the weekend is “Everyone Must Pass…” and participants will receive a user experience problem related to crossing an international border. They’ll then work in teams to solve the problem, and present it to the group. All the solutions will be Commons licensed.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, please do consider registering. It promises to be fun, and we’d love to see you. Also, it takes place at ThingTank Lab. I’ve never been there, but I’m excited to go. There are lots of little maker/ideator labs here in Toronto, but I’ve only been to about two. I’m starting to feel like I should get a stamp for each one.
