Book Deal Report

After receiving word about my book vN this week, the talented and generous Charlie Jane Anders of io9 kindly asked me for a few words about it. And now, the report is up. You can read it here. (You should read the headline, if nothing else. It’s hilarious. And accurate.)

Special thanks to Charlie for not only posting this amidst the chaos of covering Comic-Con, but leading the post with a big ol’ pic from Gunnm, also known as Battle Angel: Alita. It’s an anime from the 1990’s, adapted from a manga by the same name, about an amnesiac young cybernetic girl rescued from the trash by a sweet scientist who has just lost his pet cat. After some time, she remembers how to kick ass and starts hunting down criminals in the Scrapyard. Here’s a taste:
